Traditional nets absorb and trap water creating drag in the water increasing the net weight by up to 50%. they also attract smell from fi sh slime and can take hours to dry, running the risk of harbouring and spreading disese. Watershed nets feature a process which coats the yarn with a water repellent fi nish before being knitted into its fi nal mesh construction.
